The staff generally were very responsive and accommodating to arrange transfers, water taxis, reservations. It’s a very intimate hotel so you will know everyone by name which makes it feel very warm and family oriented. Their restaurant is great, definitely the highlight of the restaurant. There’s a cute little italian man that will come sing with you and hug you, it was like a scene from a movie.
Could be better
For the price, the rooms are very dark and unfortunately the beds are uncomfortable. They feel like a cot with a thin sheet over them. We had to leave two days early because one of us was sick and needed to get home. We asked the hotel about leaving early before we got there but we were still charged for our entire stay. It’s fine that’s their policy but it’s good for eveyone to know because previously we’ve had different, more accommodating experiences. However, I think the thing that was hardest for someone older was the music by the pool was house music and blasting to the point we could hear it all throughout the day and into the evening from inside our room. It felt like a mini rave was happening downstairs. At the pool, it was far too loud to concentrate or read your book which was unfortunate because it made the experience far less relaxing.
