Unfortunately, my experience at Villa 34 was very disappointing. From the beginning, I made it very clear to the host that I did not want anyone entering my room or handling/moving my personal belongings. This was especially important to me because I had valuable and personal items with me. I had to extend my stay, but the room I was originally staying in was unavailable for the additional night, so I had to upgrade to another room and pay a higher rate. The host told me that the new room would be ready between 10–11 AM at the latest. Based on that information, I planned my day around moving my belongings to the new room. Unfortunately, the room was not ready as promised. I repeatedly contacted the host to ask when the cleaner would arrive and explained that I could not comfortably leave the property and explore the Amalfi Coast while my belongings were still in the room and I was waiting to move. I was told that the cleaner would come, but when I followed up at around 11 AM because of the delay, the host did not respond until around 1 PM. This resulted in me wasting most of my morning and a significant part of my afternoon waiting for a response and for the room situation to be resolved. At one point, I had to briefly leave to go to the supermarket because I was sick with the flu and needed to buy some necessities. During that short period, the cleaner entered my room and moved my luggage and belongings to the other room, despite my having explicitly told the host that I did not want anyone entering my room or moving my things. What was most upsetting was not simply the delay, but the fact that my clearly communicated request regarding my privacy and belongings was not respected. I paid a higher rate to upgrade to the other room, and I expected basic communication and respect for my privacy. . Instead, I lost a large part of my day waiting and ultimately had my belongings moved without my permission. I would not recommend this property based on my experience.

The A/C did not work well. Although it ran it did not cool down the room to a temperature that was good for sleeping.
