The cathedral of Amalfi, dedicated to Saint Andrew the Apostle, stands on Piazza Duomo at the center of the historic town. It is known for its Arab-Norman façade and the adjacent Cloister of Paradise.
The Chiostro del Paradiso is a medieval cloister in Amalfi, part of the Cathedral complex and known for its Moorish-influenced pointed arches and paired columns. It was built in the 13th century as a burial cloister for Amalfi’s elite.
