Frühstück konnte man an der Rezeption bestellen (5 Euro - dann "italienisch"), das haben wir nicht genutzt (u.a. weil kein Platz im Zimmer war). Es gibt - stattdessen - einige italienische Caffés in der Nähe... Die Lage ist das beste an diesem Hotel: Sehr nahe am Petersplatz und den Vatikanischen Museen (beides gut zu Fuß machbar); Zur U-Bahn (Metro) ca. 5 Minuten (Haltestelle "Ottaviano"). Man sollte wissen: Die Gegend ist (wg. Vatikan) touristisch überlaufen. Das Zimmer hatte einen kleinen Kühlschrank (befüllt - Wasser = 2 Euro). Kleiner Schreibtisch. Das Hotel hat nur 12 Zimmer und ist im EG eines größeren Palazzo untergebracht; die Eigentümergesellschaft vermietet auch Apartments in der Nähe... In der Nähe sind einige Restaurants, in denen sich auch Einheimische verköstigen - an der Rezeption fragen!
Could be better: Das Zimmer war zwar ausreichend groß für 3 Nächte; aber es gab keine Ablagen, um die Wäsche auf dem Koffer zu nehmen. Da wäre - bei DEM Preis - etwas mehr Komfort angebracht gewesen. Zum Bad: Angemessen groß; Duschverkleidung allerdings 'sensibel' (Man hatte sie schnell in der Hand). Handtuchwechsel nur alle zwei Tage; lediglich die Fußmatte täglich. Ansonsten: Rom ist Rom - knallhart. Es gibt nichts geschenkt. Gefühlt in jedem dritten Haus ist ein Restaurant, das von Touristen lebt. Man kann sich aus diesem Strudel aber auch heraushalten (s.o.)
